Re: losing a customer?
it's well known that dopus uses (FTP- un relatred) DLL injection with 3rd-party browsers for certificate checking as part of its standard protection (masking the caller, so you can't just block dopus directly), as well as procmon disabling to prevent the creation and tracking of non-shell registry ...

You should not need to make that registry change (which affects IE as well, which may be unwanted) to host Office within other apps. (At least, I don't in my own Office viewer.) Edit: Having watched the video, you don't have to inflict the Open/Save/Cancel dialog on the user every time they want to ...

I am sure many 3rd party file managers will follow xplorer²'s example. I'm not sure who is following whom considering some file managers never dropped/lost support for this stuff in the first place (even on Vista/Win7, even years ago when Vista was brand new). :-) I totally agree that it was silly ...

since i've got your attention now here are things that are still incorrect with your comparison chart: Breadcrumbs Navigation -- Agreed. (And for TC, also. I see you have to hold shift when clicking. FWIW only Opus seems to let you go to sibling folders via breadcrumbs, but I don't personally think...

I believe the comparision was with the Scrap Containers or the Mini-Scrap. Ah okay. I'd definitely say that's not the same as Flat View. It's more like what Opus calls File Collections and the Find tool (which can output search results to collections). (So part of the root post is complaining that ...

Can someone help me find the Flat View feature in Xplorer2? I thought I'd verify we're all talking about the same thing so I installed the demo, but I can't find it. Closest thing I can find is using scrap containers to create flattened snapshots of folders in new windows, but that isn't what Flat V...

Re: competitor comparison
Laughably they miss out the "file collections" It's not on purpose. I think the day after the list was published a couple of errors were reported about the XYPlorer lines and they got fixed straight away. I guess nobody who knew the feature was in Xplorer2, and saw the chart, said anythin...
