Re: Fintech: Horcruxes for Muggles

Maybe I'm just musically spoilt. Classical free-form jazz, especially the kind that I should actually like because of my other preferences (Stockhausen and his students at Can, the 70s records by Yes and occasionally bizarre noise that still divides society today, such as that of Jim Haynes or Ana F...

Re: Fintech: Horcruxes for Muggles

I was thinking more about buying a free-jazz album. Help the musicians, disturb the establishment's sense of conservative sonorant integrity. The - I don't even dare call it that - ‘problem’ with today's society in musical matters is that it is now so used to resonance that it meets even the most e...

Kilmatead wrote: 2024 Jul 06, 15:37 They say it once existed in GCC, but I can't find any real reference to it outside of the linux realm (certainly no header prototype)
FreeBSD seems to have had stpcpy() since 2001 now, and they don't seem to remove it anytime soon. So that's the thing with standards: Everyone has one. :)

Kilmatead wrote: 2024 Jul 06, 10:25 (And why-oh-why was stpcpy never included in the standard C library? It's so much more useful than ordinary copy, though it needed a widechar version. My work is never done.)
It was, depending on the standard. :)

Re: blog: dll blocker

My approach would be:
  1. Report the bug,
  2. get rid of the thing.
But what do I know, right.

Re: blog: dll blocker

The question one should ask is: Why do you even HAVE faulty shell extensions? Why do you install broken software in the first place?

Re: SizeES: A Plugin for Fast, Persistent FolderSizes in x2 via Everything Search

- The legacy Weight.ES column has been deprecated (Still available in the v0.0.0.3 download), replaced with Reserved.ES (same as Status.ES for now) This is where my five minutes of fame seep away. I have realised that computer technology achievements fade quickly, but the step from ‘new’ to ‘legacy...

Beep! This is your regular reminder that so-called "virus scanners" cause more problems than they solve. Remove them and be happy and satisfied.

Coincidentally, that was also my first own C project. I wish I could say that I have learned something since then, but I didn’t. :) Then again, most projects on that website were started because I wanted to do something with the language. I’m actually glad that you chose this one. At least I still u...

Thank you, that is actually useful. Still, the point I was trying to make is that even that help page has the same continuity error. :)

No installation is required to be used in any computer.
I suggest to rephrase it. :)

The page you are looking for was moved or doesn't exist. :)
Now that's concise!

In my defence, I have never had an immediate need to use xplorer² portably since I registered here.
