Re: use as default not working after undo
v2.5 radically changed the way it handles folders. I didn't say not to do anything, I said stick with the beta. Or stick with the older version, just don't mix them :) Here's the problem, about which you don't seem to care: On multiple machines, if I "undo" the Windows Explorer replacemen...

Re: use as default not working after undo
I went to my doctor with a pain in my shoulder. I said, "Doc, it hurts when I do this." He said, "Don't do that."

Re: blog: new xplorer2 beta 2.4.0.7
Thanks. I was misreading the signs: Because of the other bug I reported--where I could not restore the "use xplorer2 as a Windows Explorer replacement" once I'd removed it, the shortcuts were in fact opening in Windows Explorer.

make xplorer not remember previous view
Hi, I've just installed v2.4.0.8, and I have a couple of questions, when someone has a moment: 1) Is there a way to get rid of the delete-confirmation prompt? 2) I want shortcuts to directories to open into a single-pane view. I've got that working, but I would like the shortcut to the main executab...

use as default not working after undo
Hi, I had xplorer2 pro working with xplorer2 pro functioning as a Window Explorer replacement. In working my way around the progra, I clicked on "Undo explorer replacement In Options/Advanced. I then reinstalled xplorer2 pro, clicking on "Open all filesystem with xplorer2 (replace windows ...

Re: blog: new xplorer2 beta 2.4.0.7
@ gkarasik - how do you create the shortcuts If I right button drag a file, folder or drive out of xplorer2 to the desktop, then when I drop it, select Create Shortcut then I get a regular well behaved shortcut Is there another way ? RP I tried that, but it seems to create a shortcut that opens in ...

Re: blog: new xplorer2 beta 2.4.0.7
Hi, I think this is a great product, and I appreciate the work and imagination and creativity that have gone into it. I bought a copy of Xplorer2 Pro and am using it on my personal machine, and the new version sounds terrific. However I installed a trial copy on a client's Win7 PC and just removed i...

make xplorer2 pro the default
Hi, I've searched the forum and found some old posts, but I'm hesitant to apply registry hacks for a previous version of xplorer2 pro. I installed without making it the default file manger, but I now would like to do that (Win7 Enterprise). I assume I can uninstall/reinstall to accomplish this, but ...

open to a directory with a shortcut?
Hi,
I'm new to xplorer2 pro and learning my way around. Can anyone tell me if there's a way to place an xplorer shortcut on a desktop (Win7 Ent) so that when I double-click the shortcut, xplorer opens with that specific directory open in the right pane?
