Lock selection / pane preview (feature?)
Hi Nikos (and all), I just thought of this. I did a 'little' search and not sure if this has been discussed so apologies if it has. Assume the quick viewer is displayed, and some media file (say mp3) is selected and being previewed from either the left or right pane. Could the selection be 'locked...

Hi Nikos, I was just using some ALT+ shortcuts when choosing the options in the "Find files or folders" dialog. I pressed ALT+R expecting it to go to "Addition Rules", but it went to an RE box. OK - pressed it again and it goes to the Additional Rules box. New key combo perhaps ...

Options...
Hi,
I don't think it was possible for Nikos to 'switch off' the actions of Explorer, like when it says "source and destination are the same".
Nikos did add a registry option to disable dragging with the left-mouse button by mistake. But maybe that's not what you're looking for.

My 2 pence... I use Opera and love the little features which make browsing faster, like using the mouse for back / forward and paste and go (I asked for Paste and Go in xplorer2, to paste a path into the address bar, and then take you to the folder, (search for it), but didn't get it. I'm not sure ...

Topmost and infotips
Hi Nikos, Not sure if this'll just be me / my computer. When Topmost is activated, infotips appear behind the active xplorer2 window. Hovering over a tab is fine, hovering over a file the infotip is behind xplorer2 window. Can anyone else confirm this? Keep up the good work Nikos (using newest beta...

order of copied files when using "copy names"
Hi all, When copying a list of files using Copy Names the files are copied in a 'random' order, for example, I have 8 files in a folder and their names are 00 Q1 Return Figures 2005-2006.doc 01b Q1 - 30.06.05.xls 02 Q1 - New Referrals.doc 03 Q1 - Job Search support.doc 04 Q1 - Group Support.doc 05 Q...

Hi Nikos, I will explore your suggestions, however, this is what I mean. When you paste a file path and filename into the Address Bar, then press enter, it takes you to the file. For example (example below from a win98 machine): 1) copy the path\filename C:\windows\notepad.exe 2) right click in the...

suggestion - paste and go
hi nikos,
i, personally, would find a 'paste and go' function useful for pasting file path \ file.exe into the address bar.
is this a possibility?
great program (sure your head's big enough by all the praise).
regards.

I'll offer my 2 pence... 1) Select / left click on the file you wish to trash (delete) 2) Click on (and hold) the DELETE button on the toolbar 3) Press and hold the shift button 4) Let go of the left-mouse button. For me, this brings up the dialog which says it will totally trash the file. There is ...
