Re: beta version 450.14

That does not work for me - clicking the folders does nothing. Oh, and the Column Mode was enabled - and it was disabled after the next restart again.

Re: new screenshots

I stand corrected. But then, the detailed thumbs (which are not clickable) make no sense in my opinion.

Example screenshot (opening said page in Emacs):

Re: beta version 450.14

First impression of the Miller columns: I wish there was an option to enable single-click activation only for folders when in Column Mode. On other systems which have the Miller columns, it works like this: - Single-click on a folder: The folder is opened right from the clicked folder. - Double-clic...

One of the reasons why I bought SoftMaker Office years ago. The newest versions allow me to choose a ribbon bar... but I don’t. :D

Yes. Mine. :)
(Also, most blogs.)

The links point to #sshots, not to actual image files.

I hope to be able to test this (or the newest version of it) over the weekend. Prepare for reports by the only human who likes the columns. :)

Re: new screenshots

The page works in Safari. What annoys me though is that there is no non-JavaScript fallback for the screenshots. Safely configured browsers cannot open the images easily. There seems to be no good reason for that.

I'm pleased you continue to develop and improve X2. It's still the only program that gets started first on every Windows machine I use, every day! Only Excel comes in a close second. :D
I smell a lot of spreadsheet-related feature requests here.

Re: #manatwork

We both miss the Kilmatead days, don’t we? :D

A creator of a file manager should know that a file system does not need to have a drive letter - or else, the file manager is not quite working as it should.

Re: #manatwork

how are phones and (inside) zipfolders filesystem locations? As modern Windows basically uses its zip-capable DLLs to transparently mount archives as file systems ( folders , as you call them), the operating system accepts them as perfectly valid file system locations. Phones - when connected as ex...
