Maybe virtualization was not the cause, and maybe it was related to the drivers the host machine installs to manage the virtualized one.

I had a bad experience with Virtualization software. First with VirtualBox I had the virtual machine stored on my C: drive, then I had the bad idea to move that file to the D: drive (thinking that later I would have only to change the appropriate link in the virtualized machine "ini" file)...

I didn't leave anything in the Scrap, but now that (as you correctly said) I left something the settings are recalled, and it works perfectly

Nothing to do. It works (and save settings) with the Scrap "Double Pane", Scrap "Lock Toolbars", but the List setting remains active and is not recalled in the next reopening. Could you please check it and see if it works for you? PS Normally I don't use "Save sttings on exi...

What is DTS?

What is WDS?  :shock:

Everytime that I open the Scrap windows the files are "viewed" as List.
If I change it to "Details" the next time I reopen a Scrap window, it reopens with "List".

Is there a way to Save also the Scrap container settings?
