Hm, all right, so drag 'n drop uses some kind of 'UserCommand-light'. I can live with that

Drag and drop onto UserCommand buttons

Testing the 1.7.2.20 beta, I'm wondering is the drag-drop on UserCommands always working? I guess for the easy ones, it does (opening a file in a texteditor, in a syntax like '>> [path-to-texteditor.exe] "$F"'). But I have troubles with the ones that require drag and drop folders. I have t...

Sorry, hospitality does not exist in Holland. The good thing is, people therefore aren't used to pillage the kitchen. One coffee and one biscuit, that's all one expects, here. So, no complaints so far from the ISP. Besides, contrary to what the general opinion thinks, Holland isn't that liberal anym...

I had to look up what you meant by KLPD, indeed it didn't ring a bell (awfully bad pun), then I saw it was the acronym for the dutch police  . That might tell you a few things. I'm as innocent as a newborn baby - just like my kosher friends -, and the dutch police, appearing now to have quite ...

This probably doesn't count as 'simple', nor 'very cheap', but it does count as 'fantastic': your own external network drive. I got a cheap one from QNAP. And it's great. Just like the (big) companies, you have your own file- and ftp-server. But nowadays prices have become so low, that it's good for...

For this kind of problem I'd use the 'Check build' feature, which you can find in the 'Mark' menu. Please refer to the user manual how to use it (chapter 6, advanced features, 'checking builds'). Just use the extensions 'wav' and 'mp3', and you should be able to see what has been ripped in what way.

Back from my padded cell, where I was practicing in deselecting focussed files and focussing on deselected files - the padding proved a lifesaver ,thanks! -, I see now that this discussion has gone awfully offtopic. Will that be the new practice: we can associate freely and then leave it up to Fred ...

If it is the choice between singular and shared, then I welcome your contribution to the discussion. If it is all about delusion, then we might chase after the origin of the delusion, and finally fight over who is the real solipsist: you or me. You might think that only two answers are applicable, b...

It is an a priori truth that if there is only one thing to focus on, you can not aim for anything else. If you want to rebell, there's only two options: go out meditating in your green land, like I elaborated on in my previous post, or start a war against reason. If you like the latter, just go into...

And how does one destroy focus?
Simple, do not aim.

the theory goes that both of these commands should do the same thing I don't think that's correct. $S works on the selected file or files. $F and $N work on the focussed file. The difficult part comes with "$$" or ">>", which acts like a "for each selected file do ..."...

About your beta tester board: i agree. Or some other way of communication. I might be reporting things which might 've been reported several times by the others.
I think it's not too hard in phpBB forums to set up a board for this, possibly only accessible by the testers.

Hi Cosmo, I can clearly reproduce your problem on a Vista32 laptop. There is one more condition (at my side at least) to make life hard for poor Kenny: not only should the activated pane contain a file(s) which would change appearance when unchecking the applicable color rule. Instead, one of the fi...

And don't like their testers too... I never got some nice piece of software from them (well, except the Adobe reader of course...), whereas Nikos throws a bone every now and then. :)

In the past I did some testing for Apple and Adobe software. Man, I'd be in serious trouble if I published screenshots during testing
