I haven't tried this on XP Pro, but on my W2K8 machine I can use alt+Z to add comments to a folder and view it in the detailed view. Why won't this solution work for you? Why do you want to edit ADS vs comments ?

Why can't you just edit the registry directly by launching regedit.exe, instead of doing export/edit/import ?

No, its a feature. You create a separator when you drag and hold a toolbar button move it few pixels and drop it in its original location. To remove the separator just drag a button and drop it on top of separator.

I think it is a security feature, but you can still make it work.

Why can't the checkbox to make xplorer² default file browser be added to the options dialog?
