Thank you for the explanation but if a task can be automated with little effort it should be done this way. Don't expect your users to manually verify 100s of links when you can write file checkers or as I proposed open source them so others can do it.

I have reported many serious issues with the application myself - not including the ones I have not had the time to reproduce yet.

If you have no resources (or willingness) to update the file checkers at least open source them as plugins so others can do it.

kickload.com does not longer exist. I recommend you remove it from the list of known hosts.

The problem is that new files tend to appear constantly. So only after a day 10 new files have been discovered by search engines as filestube. For an effective result, the process must be continuous. Yes filestube has a very aggressive blocking algorithm. Also once an IP is blocked, it is blocked forever (for good reasons).
