involving god or aliens as the initiator of big bang or what have you doesn't solve anything, because then it begs the question who made the maker? Infinite recursion, stack overflow, big crash :) True, I was just trying to say that there are many.. many possibilities. Therefore, until we could fin...

...logically I never could understand the "something from nothing" argument. True, something not logic is difficult to be accepted by today's people in modern countries. I guess, not in poor and religious countries where many still believe a cocktail manuscript is from God and a pervert g...

Ah yes, $f is exactly what I needed. However, I was thinking about virtualization for better implementation with file type.
Anyway, thank you for the info and good luck with your excellent file manager.

I think I already got what I wanted. >notepad $n $n Is the path to a file that I selected from ATL:BrowserListView, right? Then use something like a script that can read arguments being thrown at it (in this case the path to the file or $n), and will read the file's extension. Then the script will c...

User commands, does it means I would need to have one toolbar-button for each program? Sometimes I have more than 1 program with the same usage, like 3 video players, 2 text editors, etc. Can the user commands read the extension and gives us different menu instead being fixed? I think it can be done...

Maybe this is off topic, but still regarding portability and settings. Is it possible to make Xplorer2 handles file-types differently than Windows Explorer? With that, for those who have Xplorer2 and their fave apps on USB could browse any PC with their fave apps by double clicking normally within X...

the first drawing glitch seems simple but it's very hard to fix. For rename on the other hand, changing the case works for me, when using F2 on a single file!? F2, (slow d-click), or (r-click > rename) give me that strange behavior. case change renames work but you have to refresh (Ctrl-R) to see t...

I'm reporting an inconsistent behavior instead requesting a feature. 1. If I use Bold-face with option to keep the coloring when the pane is inactive, the highlight-rectangular's size is changing back. In this case, picture explains better: http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/50/x2ge3.th.jpg Hope fix...

There is an application called Unlocker that could show, unlock, or kill processes that are using the files. It integrates with the context menu, so it would be convenient. Perhaps, Xplorer2 could be integrated with Unlocker like application. So, Xplorer2 would unlock any file after being locked for...

Oh, ok. It's just by using WPFV I could see image files in full screen, it's useful for selecting wallpaper. Not such a biggie though, not that important for majority.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Hello, I do not know if the following info could help refreshing the environment variable, I read on Autoit about EnvUpdate. And I also use "RunDll32.exe USER32.DLL,UpdatePerUserSystemParameters ,1 ,True" to update some registry changes. It's more like a habit than knowledge, so not really...
