Doesn't seem to work in Windows 8.1/x64
Neither 3.0.0.2 ULT [Unicode] x64 nor Explorer are able to use it to open .7z: file handler chooser dialog is presented instead, like if the association with .7z is gone.

Well, yeah, that's my observation as well.

I wonder if you could try something "before Ribbon" and "after Ribbon"? There must be some build that starts exhibiting this behavior... Otherwise both 2.x and 3.x would be affected.

This behavior is definitely affected by Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Ease of Access Center -> Make the keyboard easier to use. I don't know what is the delta between x2 v2.x and v3.x, but after enabling "Underline keyboard shortcuts and access keys", the problem with v3.x goes away. ...

Nope, disabling Ribbon doesn't change that. Pressing Alt after X2 was launched with mouse doesn't bring the focus rect back.

So far not impressed. Instead of 1 click access to the user command, I have 3: click on Workbench, click on the "gallery", click on command. I can move only the gallery to the quick access toolbar. Meh.

Same location, X2-OldVersionMouse.mp4 (v2.5):
1. Hands off keyboard
2. Launched X2 by mouse-clicking the icon in taskbar
3. It works as expected

BTW, there's a fun bug: I installed v2.5, uninstalled it, then ran v3.0 - it shows both Ribbon and Toolbar.
