Re: Regex search setting

I want to find a file which has 01s or 03s somewhere in its name. I do not want it to find 01f, 01 or 03. In this example it's "00s filename.jpg" but "something 02s something.jpg" may be a file name also. The 2 numbers could change, ie 32s 52s but would always have an s at the en...

Re: Folder comparison

If it's Compare, maybe it's something different you require.

Use Mirror Browsing.

Re: Explorer Replacement OFF

Use File > Exit to properly exit x2 - and test if need be.

When x2 stays resident after 'quitting' it usually means you're using Explorer Replacement Mode.

Re: Dual Pane auto activation

configurable, as you say, but i see how the behaviour you suggest could be annoying, for some. with the current behaviour, if you CTRL+O, you can still navigate the current pane/folder, then ALT+ENTER *(edited shortcut)* if you would like to bring the current selected folder into view in the inactiv...

Re: filter out specific file name with "(2)"

Use ALT+H (View > Visual Filter > Rule Based) ?
use -(2) in the name box

Test and see how it goes maybe.
