Re: build 3402 released

zabkat.com doesn't contain any malware, but which program is it that you are using that claims otherwise? I don't see any reports of badware here https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/a8dd0759a156faa2d813c843508527d6b515325fdcbf8ec5d813eb76a158e8ec/analysis/ Sorry for the delay. As far as I can tell it...

Any ideas?

I've gotten the following warning every time I try to download the upgrade. It appears to be caused by my wireless router hooked into my cable modem even though I'm not using the wireless connection. I'm sorry to bother you I'm just acting from an overabundance of caution. Warning! The website conta...

Re: feedback required: scripting xplorer2

This sounds like a lot of work. I would rather you did a bunch of simpler improvements to x2. Right now I would have to say number one on my wish list is having an option for Dual bookmarks open up the two pane view side by side if duel pane view isn't already on. Right now I get two tabs. For years...

Re: blog: dark window theme

Did anyone ever figure out how to change the color behind the document in Word 2013? Even with the "dark gray" theme it burns my retinas. After four years I'm a little use to it, but I would still like a gray that's a shade or two darker. I know Word 2016 has a darker theme, but it is too ...

Re: move/copy files to last used folder

I was about to ask this exact same question. What I was hoping was there was a "Repeat Copy/Move to" command under the Edit menu that could be executed with a keyboard command and button that would copy/move selected files to the last used destination without showing a dialog.

As long as you don't use it in X2 Professional I don't care what you do with that gaudy thing.

Great glob, I've been using x2 since 2007 and never knew I could do this. Thanks!

Re: xplorer2 v3.2 final released

Does this mean I can edit photo tags directly in the Details pane? If you're referring to the Rating property you're out of luck. It seems you can change from Unrated to 1 Star but no more. http://i.imgur.com/syLXwAp.gif Thanks for trying to help, but I'm referring to that area at the bottom where ...

Re: xplorer2 v3.2 final released

File tags can be edited if you add the keyword stock property in the details pane. You can create a custom details pane definition file and add this line under comments property: <p><A id="s_19" href="@">Keywords</a>: <span>val</span> Does this mean I can edit photo tags directl...

FrizzleFry wrote:pschroeter, how old was your MenuHack executable?
The Details pane says it was version 3.1.1.1111 from 7/2/2007. Since it was working with x2 v. 3.1 that doesn't even sound right. All I know is the rewritten one release today works and I'm happy.

...fixing MenuHack may be no longer necessary. As Frizzle pointed out, MenuHack continues to work just fine, so it's somewhat difficult to "fix" unless you can be more specific. All I knew was after upgrading x2 to version 3.2 , all my user command buttons that link to MenuHack sto...

Re: xplorer2 v3.2 final released

BTW, my MenuHack commands are working... do you keep MenuHack in the x2 install folder? No, xplorer2 is 64 bit so it is in the Programs folder and the MenuHack folder is in Programs(x86) folder. Edit a little later … I've been using your VBS SendKeys scripting suggestion and fixing MenuHack may be ...

Menuhack buttons stopped working

My Menuhack buttons stopped working. I checked and command numbers look the same. I've had this problem before with an update, but I don't remember how I fixed it. I was wondering if there is a way to send keystrokes to x2 with a simple user command. I probably wouldn't even need Menuhack if I could...

if you have any pressing requests that can be done easily, let me know and I'll add them to the list Maybe I'm late but: Case changing in Mass rename If I am in a folder with no folders selected, Browse flat should flatten the folder I'm currently in. Alt-clicking a folder should open dual pane if ...

Re: Best file format to save diary entries in

I use plain TXT but RTF sounds good if you want formatting. At any rate I wouldn't worry about it, aristotle used to write in stone plates but we can still read about him 2000 years later :) Do you think DOCX will stand the test of time and be around for a long, long time? That [Compatibility Mode]...
