Dear Nikos (expect a few more of those today :)), what's the status on a 64-bit build of x^2? I know how hellish it can be porting code that wasn't written with 64-bit compatibility in mind, so I'm not expecting a here-and-now release, just wondering how far you are / if you're working at it at all....

Iirc DDE isn't that much of a bother, especially not compared to the COM horrors you must have gone through . I'll try to find some time and investigate what happens when you click the LAN icon in the tray.

Zebra coloring would be nice, and doesn't necessarily cause a problem with selections; could be implemented two ways: either always using the same selection background color, or by zebraing the selected-background-color as well (I would personally opt for the former).
