i've never used it, but i just used the advanced settings editor and added a folder to the desktop, pasted a dummy file into it and another folder, and searched. it only showed the dummy file in the folder which wasn't blacklisted. maybe the *\Temporary Internet Files\ has something to do with it?  ...

yea, when a different column is first, that has been an issue for a while.  workaround (how we love these :)) is to use ctrl+F2 for that, or remap ctrl+F2 to F2...

i couldn't pick it out in the endless list of columns available though...  maybe try there first (sure you have as you seem to be on the search).

well i guess.  checked explorer (win7 x64) and it did the same thing on one of the folders, and the 'correct' thing on the other:

I was just checking them out, and so happened to be in a folder with mp3s, and it's the track number.

ps what does your x2 manager do?
