unicode wouldn't run on 9x machines (there are loads of them still around). Then it is also a bandwidth problem. In the end both a normal and unicode version will be distributed

yes it is a serious problem since if you don't have admin rights on a remote PC you can't see C$ but the new x2 robs you off the right to see the legitimately shared folders. I'm working on a patch as we speak
