Kilmatead, You may certainly associate vampires with teenyboppers if you wish, but that is a much more modern linking.  Thinking back to the mid 20th century (which I can, but I do not know if you are old enough) Dracula was a horror movie and there was no such thing as teenyboppers.  So while the c...

Kilmatead, Thank you for the explanation of the ZabKat name.  It is much more interesting than just appending two peoples names. My Avatar is Dracula - though from a more modern movie than those that starred Bela Lugosi - which is not what I would call "teeny bopper".  Now if it was a vamp...

Again, as a new user, I am not privy to the hierarchy of ZabKat.  However it sounds like the combination of TWO names so I thought that “Kat” represented a second person.  From what I have gleaned from posts on this forum, Nikos has a child or two and one can hope that even at their young age he has...

I appreciate the economic implications of reproducible error fixing versus the difficulty of finding the much more elusive error that cannot be easily repeated.  The ultimate expression of that philosophy is called Microsoft Windows.   However REAL programs take pride in their work and do not care a...

A "reproducible error" is the hobgoblin of a weak mind.  A REAL programmer does not need the crutch of  a reproducible error to debug their software.  A REAL programmer can look at the symptom (reported behavior) and deduce the possible causes - just by thinking about the way their code wo...

Thanks to you both.  I must have misread or misunderstood the tip.  That makes more sense, anyway.

Thanks for the info on how to see all the tips.

Column Name Tooltip

I thought I read a Tip Of The Day that said I could hover my mouse over a column name that is truncated (for example Extension) and see the full name of the column.  However when I tried that, nothing happened.   On a related topic, it would be nice if I could move backward through the Tips of the d...

Different Sort Order for Folders

I would like to display sub-folders in a folder at the top of the pane (which I can do) BUT I want those folders sorted by name!  In the same pane I want all the FILES in that folder to appear below the sub-folders (which I can do) but sorted by date, desending.  Is that possible?

Quickviewer Locks File

When having the preview pane open and using the quickview with PDF files, X2 seems to lock the file.  If I open the file using Acrobat and try to save the file, it says that the file is in use.  I tried going into X2 and moving focus to another file, then tried saving again but still get the same er...
