...about 78 files limitation -- it was a compliment to xplorer2. xplorer2 handled the 78 file search w/flying colors. Windows Explorer, on the other hand, returned hits for only about 30 files. ...about builds -- Yes, I was looking at this, but for the moment, it's not useful to me. I only deal with...

Fgagnon, Awesome. Thank you so much for the info! I didn't realize scrap containers were this powerful. That said, I ended up taking this approach to creating my scrap container: 1. made a comma delimitted text list of the files that I wanted 2. pasted the list into my Find dialog, and entered a few...

multi-file copy

Hi all, I couldn't find any previous posts on this, so here goes... I want to copy about 300 files burried within numerous subdirectories to another location (maybe as a flat structure or maybe maintaining the same folder structure as the source files). Is there a way to do this easily in xplorer2 o...

I second Devic's comments. My proposal is not ready yet, but my 21 days free trial ran out. Trying to work w/out xplorer2 was simply torture. I lasted only 3 hrs, and went and purchased Pro on my own credit card. Still have to get permission to use it though, so I'll continue compiling my presentati...

Thank you for laying it out that way. Very helpful. I will use dollar figures in my proposal! Do I save an hr. a day? Maybe not (although if I sit down and calculate things out, I might find that I do) An hr. a week? Most definitely. On navigation alone, I save seconds on almost every action. I hotk...

Just curious if anyone has ever calculated how much faster/efficient you are by using xplorer2 vs. Windows Explorer. Any stats or summary of user comments is very welcomed. I'm proposing to Management to purchase licenses. I'd like to attach some numbers to my claims. Ex: Using xplorer2 I am able to...

Awsome. It worked. Not sure what you mean by: "next time you go to View | Options it will be turned back on" I currently have Single-Click Activation WITHOUT Automatic Activation on Hover, which is what I want! What exactly do you mean when you say, "it will be turned back on" and why is this undesi...

Which registry key is it? I couldn't find it under HKEY_CURRENT_USER-->Software or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-->Software. I looked for it under 2xExplorer and Netez.

Feature request -- Single Click WITHOUT AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION

Hi there, I have my mouse set to Single Click Activation. The problem? When I switch from 2xExplorer to another app, and then back, the item that ends up under my mouse gets selected automatically. I would like to maintain the activation on the previously activated item. Likewise, when I get a dialo...

I keep getting: "Item launched in background"

Hi all, For some reason when I click on a file (in this case, an .xls file), I either get: - Excel 2000 appearing in the foreground BUT in non-active mode - Excel starting in the background, and my 2xExplorer status bar reading "Item launched in the background". Any idea how I can change this? I.e.,...

Where can I get the CHM file??

Hmm...when I tried to open the CHM file, I got a message asking me if I wanted to download it from your website. After saying yes, I was lead to your website. After poking around in the Download page for a while, I still could not find it. Then I noticed a blurb in the main page about the Help file,...

Yup...I was accidently doing Ctrl+Alt+5! (again, the correct keystroke doesn't seem to be documented outside of the Bookmark menu itself...which you can only reference if you haven't used up all your entries!)

Cheers!

I figured it out! BUT....

I figured it out! The keystroke is actually Ctrl+Shift+5.

Now, my only request would be that this keystroke be documented somewhere! (in addition to the Bookmark menu itself, since this information disappears once you assign all 5 bookmarks to a folder!)

Thanks,

How reset bookmark??

I have created bookmarks Ctrl-1 through Ctrl-5. Now I want to reset the last one (Ctrl-5) to a different folder. I *thought* the sequence was Ctrl-Shift-5, but that doesn't seem to work. Of course the keystrokes are no longer visible in the Bookmark menu since all bookmarks 1-5 are already being use...
