According to the quickstart guide, in the filter box, "If you do a mistake, delete a few letters to show more files in the pane". This doesn't work for me, either to delete a letter or backspace. If I remove all characters, everything is un-filtered. (Win XP Pro)

The new filter box doesn't seem set the "active filter" as the menu functions or addressbar does, so toggling off and back on with the new statusbar icon doesn't set the filter back to the filter box value  :(
