Congratulations Nikos.

Three years serving the X² community with this excellent piece of software. Keep up the good work (I hope you're not getting tired of answering our questions/requests/remarks yet)!

You can of course make a bookmark of your favorite folder(s). Assign a keystroke (Ctrl  + 0 for instance) and you are 'one keyboard click' away from your favorite folder (in all tabs if necessary) But if you're looking for a one-click with the mouse, as long as you are staying on the same root path ...

[...]how's the bike coming along, mine was stolen twice last year! If mine would have been stolen I probably wouldn't have noticed. I can't seem to find time to ride it :( anyway, are we talking loads of results or it doesn't matter? What if you delete all the contents first? It doesn't seem to ben...

X² not responding after leaving scrap pane

Hi Nikos and all, Long time no speak :) I've been very busy, so no time to do much reading and helping on the forum. Still, I can find the time to report an annoying behaviour. I didn't spend a lot of time searching for similar findings by others, so excuse me if it has been reported already. I usua...

regarding option two... if I look at the current value of binMiscOptions it's 224... that isn't a sum of the listed options in registry.txt. If I want to use GIOPT_NOCOLCACHE then should I add it to that value or...? Yes, Add it to the existing value, otherwise you'll lose the current settings! See...

The second solution worked but not the first one.  I had previously tried uninstalling, removing registry entries in the uninstall, and reinstalling.  I just tried it again.  Still no titlebars.  I didn't have them when I first installed.  Can I turn them on by a registry edit? Uninstaller won't re...

Of course I have read it. Doesn't change my point of view though.

I agree that it would be nice to have, but i disagree about it being essential. We obviously have a different opinion about what is deemed essential in a file manager, so be it. Doesn't make my opinion less valuable though :)

IMHO, X² has all the essentials it needs (let alone bare essentials). It all depends what one deems essential. For me, graphical enhancements for instance fall in that category only if they enhance functionality, not just sheer looks.

i guess that shell autocompletion is eating the tab, it doesn't happen if the option is off[...] Right :) This means it is going to be virtually impossible to 'fix'. [Esc] will have to do in that case. No problem, just a pity for consistency sake. Maybe something should be said about this in the ma...

see the tips & tricks file once in any non-normal pane so to speak you can get back with either tab or esc I agree on the address bar issue. When in the address bar [Tab] won't get you back into the active file pane. You can only do this by pressing [Esc]. This is confusing (wonder if this hasn...

To reduce the clutter, you could limit the flattening to the relevant folder(s).

Great solution BRX. Shows how versatile X² is :)

Damn, Nikos, you just beat me to it. Went to lunch and was planning to reply upon return with the procedure you described (same solution in general) This is what I like about X² so much: some very commonly used tasks can be performed with almost no effort at all, the more exotic ones can be done too...
