comma in script wizard?

How can I input a comma in the template text field and have it count for the script? When I put a comma (needed in an argument) the preview displays a line break where the comma is. I tried $2C (as in the Find Text dialog), but that doesn't work either. What I'm trying to do is use IrfanView's resam...

Ooh, thanks for reminding me about the Help|Contents fgagnon and also for reminding me how to actually use that darn $nn variable. D'oh! It slipped my mind that I need numbers there instead of the nn.

increment variable for batch

What is the variable for this? I thought it would be $nn as stated in the token help, but I also noticed the message that "All lowercase versions... use compact 8.3 file/path names."

I'm using the latest beta.

Ah, thanks for all the help fgagnon :) and nikos for the explanation. :D

In truth, I rarely use the tree, but I have it open for testing.

The only thing that seems to prevent that sound being played would be for me to wait about 2 secs. If I create the folder, complete naming the folder, press ctrl+r, and enter the folder all under 2 secs the sound still gets played. Interestingly enough, if I leave the folder as "New Folder,&quo...

Thanks for the tip fgagnon. :) I just noticed that the wav file is played when I go into the folder very quickly after its creation. (e.g. pressing enter to finish naming the folder and then pressing enter again to go into the folder) Here's the DBMon output. The last part is the creation of the fol...

Sound on Entering a Newly Created Folder

In the beta, I get "Windows XP Critical Stop.wav" playing when I enter a newly created folder. The folder can be created by some other program, but if it is new to the view of x2, upon entering it the wav is played. In fact, using foobar with lame, I can extract songs from a CD and create ...

HTML and Quickpreview in Beta

In the tips included with the beta, there's a mention of a graphic preview of HTML. Does this work only with IE as the default browser? I've mine set to Firefox and only see the text preview instead. Also, I was experimenting with the encoding selection in the Quickpreview area. After setting the en...

JRz, are you referring to 'Remember each folder's view settings?' When I did use explorer regularly, I did like to have the option disabled and still do. However, I don't recall that it ever remembered the window position and size of the Control Panel's window. Well, I guess I can try it out for a f...

not easily which find do you have in mind? Agent Ransack - http://www.mythicsoft.com/agentransack/default.aspx or a File Finder from Mijenix (not sure of a link for it, might be from PowerDesk). I'm not expecting much integration as I don't know how feasible it is to feed the current directory info...

nikos, can the Ctrl+F command be linked to an alternate Find program? Using an alternate shell disables easy access to Windows' Find.

As an aside, I'd like to mention that I prefer viewing the Control Panel through x2, especially after resizing the window, leaving it centered (by eye), in large icon view mode, and saved as a layout. I despise how cpanel.exe can't remember its last size and position.
