i bet you are talking about the root folder when x2 is running with the /R: option. Well, that's a limitation you've just discovered. You can't rename the root from within the root without causing havoc

it never ceases to amaze me how organized some of you guys are! and to think that you're using the program of the most disorganized person ever (that's me folks! :)) now there's the oxymoron! anyway at some point i'll have to rethink how the tree handles commands. Either i'll turn everything off or ...

i have already fixed this bug with sorting

as i've said in the past, when in rome... i mean in the tree, do things that are relevant there :) If the tree supported filters (now there's an idea!) then these commands would make sense

that's coming but it won't correct this particular glitch

you people don't understand how hard it is for the same code base to service a number of completely different purposes :) (main & scrap frames). It is not as easy as it seems to fix it cleanly...

i hope you're joking!
the templates are saved but only for successful executions/edits
(or check your "save settings" menu item)

in the future, there will be a mechanism to "name" templates and save them separately. The same goes for all persistent lists

i suppose this kind of feature would have utility for some users
i think that the best thing usability-wise would be a "hot list" with all the local windows popping up with a shortcut key

i can't say that it is
what would be the purpose?
in the past we have been discussing about a modified <Alt+Tab> version that would cycle through x2 windows, is that what you had in mind?

it would seem that this assertion will be generated outside a drag-drop context, too, eg if you opened the branch manually. That particular mapped drive must have underneath it 2 folders with the same name. I bet that one of them is named in a different case like "temp" and "Temp"...

it will be added at some stage
basically whatever 2x has now, x2 will have -- and more!

close to be finished?
nowhere near!
Moreover I consider all existing user interface to be "works access only" and most of it will have to be rewritten -- all dialogs etc
so any translations at this point are a waste of effort

this is a little tricky the sort order is saved only when you change folder (just the one change will do) Another customer that operates x2 with "save settings at exit" unchecked I presume? :) resizing the path dropdown do you mean the addressbar? probably not since this is resizable already
