advanced options (restarting x2)
This is rather unimportant and purely for a tiny bit of more convenience. But since starting the advanced options editor closes x2 I always wondered why closing the advanced editor pane doesn't suggest restarting x2 and one has to do it manually (in case I haven't overlooked something). Especially b...

Re: hard links - info about other hard links to same files?
May I revisit my suggestion to support sending (all) hardlinks of a file to a scrap pane?
I think it would be a really nice addition and certainly help my workflow being able to view and manipulate the hardlinked files directly from the scrap pane with all x2 functions.

Re: Any chance for silent install options
Do you know chocolatey? https://chocolatey.org That's what I'm using for fresh installs and of course regular updates for most of my applications. Though not on x2 so far since there is no ultimate package. (And the ones for pro and lite aren't up to date). Nikos, would you consider to be the offici...

Congrats to v5.
It's a long way from the 2xplorer days and x2 is still my daily workhorse. Thanks.

Re: are you a ribbon or menu person?
I'm absolutely a menu person. I never find my way in ribbons.

Resilio Sync Context menu /icons
Does somebody use Resilio Sync as synchronisation tool with W10 and x64 x2 ultimate? I love Resilio Sync (and x2) but I never got the RS context menu entries working (the icon overlay neither) for my x64 x2 ult on W10. Context menu and icons show correctly in the native Windows Explorer. I tried the...

suggestion: cycling through address bar
Hey Nikos, do you think you can add cycling through the addressbar with the arrow keys (or page up/down) so you get to the end of the address bar if you use arrow up at the first line (and back to the first line if you use arrow down at the last one)? You can't jump to the end or first position with...

Re: Release 4.4.0.1: Old version on free-downloads.net
you make it sound like you had to make your hands dirty!? :) free-downloads is no longer a supported mirror, in fact there are no mirrors, only zabkat.com And no direct downloads anymore, correct? I had a convenient little batch where I downloaded the current executables with wget when a new versio...

Re: Reading subfolders... (ESC to abort)
Thank you for including that. I think it's a significant improvement in usability (at least for me, I hope for others, too).

Re: Reading subfolders... (ESC to abort)
OK. Of course I can live with that (like so far). But isn't the idea to "size up" just the selected folders an improvement you'd consider to implement?

Re: Reading subfolders... (ESC to abort)
The same problem applies to the Ctrl-D command though if you use it for a folder in the root folder of nowaday's big harddisks with lots of subfolders and files. I often only need the size of one or a few folders (automatical calculation disabled), but have to wait quite a time for x2 to finish the ...

Re: hard links - info about other hard links to same files?
Oh, that's nice. That has been a longstanding request of mine and I actually came to the forum just now to ask about it again. I've also used the link shellextension so far and made a very simple little autohotkey script which displays the hardlinks copies them to the clipboard and pastes them into ...

Re: Pane colors - active vs inactive
I'd like to have the same background colour (grey) for the name column and the rest of the columns for the inactive pane. Where do I find the settings for that?

Re: New Feature Suggestion
Personally I don't need a restart button in x2. But I often think the advanced settings editor really could offer to start x2 again after you're finished with the settings.FrizzleFry wrote:RightPaddock wrote:Which reminds me of a little thing that I wish X2 had - Restart, with a kb short if possible.
