You're running on the blind assumption Exactly the opposite, my Irish expert-debater friend. I'm not assuming anything. Just the opposite. My thesis is innovation is, as much as beauty, in the eye of the beholder. I make no judgement at all, but applaud the developer's efforts to create. That's all...

Sad, very sad indeed .... ... not the interface, but, whether I like it or not, that three reasonably intelligent individuals would decry the value of innovation. Would that the same hue and cry ensued over the world wide web HTTP: protocol and interface over the "tried and true" dial-up B...

modifying a group is easy: activate it, make the changes in the tabs, then save it as a new group using the old name I'd like to suggest an enhancement - make the name field a listbox with the existing tab group names enumerated along with a blank for a user-typed entry. I'd go so far to suggest al...

You can use robust copy, for example like Nikos mentioned here.

However, I'd recommend the 3rd-party software solution Syncback Freeware to keep the drives synchronized.

Thank Kilm - for the script, that is! I do kinda wish the rest of the word pictures you added were perhaps left unsaid! Causes too much wishful thinking ... ... and on that subject ("What subject?" he asks) a very interesting filename for the script, too! Do you know just how ravenous cavi...

I have put a button on the toolbar to go to the Options menu so I can change the 'Automatically re-sort contents after moving...' setting. Is there a way to create a toolbar button that toggles this setting? I've modded x2 enough over the years, but I'm having trouble working this out to a single bu...

as I revisit this for a possible fix, i see that the real issue is 'Automatically re-sort contents after moving...' . You can't have no-scrolling without no re-sorting. In fact you can stop scrolling merely by clearing this option! Are we all happy? Thanks for point this out. It helped when I was h...

Re: Robust Transfer Queue question

...  If there is a way to edit any of the options for jobs that are already queued, that would be great to know... Well, two + years on after this original thread and the queued items are still presented with your standard "Properties" window and not the Copy / Move window that would hope...

The work-around that is working for me is to open another scrap container and drag-and-drop the files into that container as I work. Not as elegant, but has some benefits of allowing better review and editing of the file list before I kick off processing. Only caveat is I have to be careful to drop ...

(edit: tried the Store / Combine method - doesn't work. See below.)   To resurrect an old topic: Is this still your final answer on the (IMHO) broken sticky selection? I'm glad Excel doesn't follow this method where combinations of ctrl-click and shift-click all add to the current ...

Cosmo - can you post the MD5 signatures of your X2 installation files? I have the 32 bit 1.8.1.1 file (xplorer2_setup_full_32bit.exe) and MD5 gave 24E4FCE51361A2AB3C65A61E53358812 for it's signature. Perhaps a comparison of the signatures of the files you're working with and other's files that do no...

Is that a tome about onions and tomatoes? Never read it. I wonder if it's a good beach read? Yep, time to pack up the sunscreen and folding chair and head for some sun and breezes!
