Re: Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
So far, so good. No crashes reading inside the iso whether the details pain is on or off.
I notice that the 7z.dll was also updated to the latest version, bonus.

Re: Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
Strictly it's BSD, not Linux, but I'll let you off on that technicality as the issue would affect both OS iso's.
Not knowing anything about ISO files, is there any signature that can be looked at to deduce it's for a Unix type system, and work around it?

Re: Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
Hi Nikos, I downloaded this one "FreeBSD-11.0-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso" I can browse into the iso with the details pane off. As soon as I select the details pane again, whilst inside the iso, it crashes x2. But interestingly, whilst I'm browsing inside the iso, x2 is ok with the details pane...

Crash on Win 7 with Browsable Compressed Archives NSE and ISO files
Hi Nikos, I have a consistent crash with x2 when using the details pane and selecting an iso file, IF I have the Browsable Compressed Archives NSE program installed as well. It will only crash if I select the file and have the details pane open. Closing the details pane stops any crashing. I got the...

Re: Copy & Paste not working from/to same folder
I also have this issue. But I thought that the whole point in you adding the Duplicate command was due to a limitation you found with just copying and pasting in the same folder?

Scrap containers
Looks like a GSOC 2016 idea is being proposed by a computer science undergraduate, for a similar feature to your scrap containers in KDE's Dolphin file manager.

Re: How can i visit cloud services?
I have installed both the Dropbox and Box clients on my PC, and can access the files on those cloud drives from within x2 without issue. They are just sync folders.

Re: ribbon head count
I'm still on XP believe it or not until they upgrade our laptops, so Ribbon is not an option in x2. However, we do have Office 2010, I dislike it with a passion.
When we move to Win7 and I reinstall x2, Ribbon will be turned off

Re: blog: aliens ate my stereo sound channel
Nikos, while you can listen to flac files, it was more of a starting point to archive the CD on your hard drive, then re-encode it to mp3, ogg or whatever format you want afterwards. The physical CD's can put stored somewhere else then. You can pick up big hard drives for silly money these days.

Re: blog: aliens ate my stereo sound channel
Why not rip to flac, then you have an effective high quality archive of your CD. You can re-encode the flac file to any other format you want after that

As well as Ctrl+A (select all) or a filter, you can also use Ctrl+Alt+Q to select only folders, then copy or move en-masse

10 bloody years, where has that gone. I can still remember using 2x. As pj stated, it is the one app that gets installed every time, and is on from start to finish.
Happy buffday x2!!
Nikos, perhaps one day we'll meet at the Bike show again
