Re: build 5001 released
Wanted to make sure that this is a recurring case before posting this. On Windows 10 Pro 2004.19041.685 x64 with x2 5.0.0.1 ULT x64. The conducted experiment is opening x2, two panes, just one tab each, nothing fancy. When starting x2 it consumes around 15MB of memory https://i.postimg.cc/C19JMv24/x...

Re: Couple of questions from noobie
that's why I suggested using the new QAL I appreciate you tried showing me alternative options. I am not using the tree view and even if I did, the QAL is full of invalid paths of folders that have been moved around. I prefer having stuff on the toolbars, so in the end I'll resort to scripts as use...

Re: Couple of questions from noobie

Re: Couple of questions from noobie
you must use FILE > NEW TAB menu command or the equivalent keyboard shortcut That's how I was doing it for more than a decade now, I was wondering if there's a way to do it without having to open a new tab first. I think that a workaround is to use user commands instead of bookmarks to launch prede...

Re: Any chance for silent install options
An automation script like the ones you'd make with AHK or AutoIt could easily solve this, it's also flexible and extensible and can be applied to anything that doesn't have a silent install feature.

Re: trying to register in this forum?
I wish Kilmatead was still alive, everything was more entertaining around here back then. The Covid tests blog post thread would've stretched a dozen pages.

Disable automatically playing media files in Preview pane
Hello, is there an option or a way to disable automatic playback of audio files in the Preview pane when a file is being selected?

One of the reasons I regularly check the forum is to absorb Kilmatead's wisdom.

Re: Xplorer Pro unresponsive
Would be extremely helpful if you could tell in detail what you are doing exactly, or even better, if you have the possibility of recording your screen, try to reproduce and capture how the program becomes unresponsive. Other things you could do would be trying to narrow down the cause of the hang. ...
