I have my music albums stored in Folders, "Artist - Album", I have my collection backed up on three seperate hard drives. On my principle HDD I customise the albums by removing or adding tracks. Is there an easy way that I can list ONLY the albums whose contents has been been changed acros...

you must be in list view with restricted column widths. Well thanks to m$ you can't avoid it; if i prevent the first painting cycle sometimes it doesn't update at all, so it's definitely the lesser evil I am in list view, and I have lots'a files in some directories, so its quite annoying to have it...

I cannot reproduce what you describe. AFAIK windoze normally cannot tolerate that and its native shell won't let it happen. Are you running an alternative shell? [edit/add]... or is the target 'folder' inside a compressed file? I do all my copy and pasting in X2, I move music folders/albums around ...

Why does "Overwrite if newer" merge folders ?
using X2's Copy To function and "Overwrite if newer" set under transfer options, it merges the contents of the new with the old, I understand overwrite to mean delete old and replace with new. If merging is the intended method for X2 to copy, why not call "overwrite" "Merge&...

I unistalled X2 including the registry settings, reinstalled it and d-clicked on the .reg file and wonders of wonders all my settings were restored, great. One thing though, it didn't ask me for my registration key during the reinstallation, (told you I can break things.....) and there is a reg numb...
