When I try regular Windows Explorer on the same folder, with the same 1500 files of several different types, using the same sort by the extension, it display contents in less than 1 second. x2 takes 12+ seconds. Since contents of this folder varies every several days, and ocassionaly it can be down ...

Re: how about non-debug version?
How about stop gripeing. How much memory do you have ? How many apps do you have running.Don't blame nikos if you have crippled your abilities.x2 is a beta version and seeks comments, not complaints.[/quote] 376 mb. None. Regular Explorer shows the contents of the same folder with 1200 files in...

although the core functionality is rather stable, every new release brings new untested features. Everything new could come with bugs, and usually does! Yes, but it is normal to have a version v1, and then build new features on it (v1,1 beta). So, we can have v1 that runs fast, and try out later ve...

I always use Pane style: List. and x2 is painfully slow, and I can not use v35 with no debug info since it was UC and I have Win98. There is no reason to distribute alfa version with debug info in it for years. x2 is not in alpha rel version for a long time. Since other problems (in my opinion) you ...

how about non-debug version?
I have a lot of files and x2 keeps slowing me down. We did not have a release version since v35, some 6 months ago. How about compliing one release version (without the debug info) and letting us use it at a fast pace. x2 is a pretty mature and relatively stable. Personally, x2 lacks very few featur...

1. If I open two x2 instances, and drag something from the first one to the folder three of the other, I see the blue square around the folder that is the drop down target 2. If I open regular Explorer (or try the Desktop) and x2, when I drag something over the x2, it does not indicate with blue squ...

BLue square dissapears from the active folder in the folders pane, it remains only Bold. 3. Moving dragged icon over the folders at the fodlers pane, I have no indication where it will...

drag&drop from outside dows not mark target
When i try to drag&drop something from e.g. desktop to x2 folder pane, it does not show in bold the target active folder.
It reacts well otherwise, it will open subfolders, but wil not show what is current target.

larger split sizes
I do not see any particular reason to limit split size to 1265 kB. I do not even have a diskette drive :) Why not offer some presets like diskette size, and CD size and enable user to anter any reasonable number, somewhere in GB range. It would be nice to be able to select from a drop-down if I wish...
