Pin to Taskbar AWOL in xplorer²
Hi, If I right-click “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe” in xplorer², the menu does not include “Pin to Taskbar”. This is irrespective of whether xplorer² is in Administrator mode or not. If I right-click “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe” in Window...

Re: Windows 10 intercepts too much
You could use my own favorite solution to open any file: find the file in x2 first, then use drag & drop from x2 onto the target app.

Re: blog: show JPG on map where it was taken
There is information about (Google) My Maps at My Maps Help and My Maps.
Note that there is something like Bing Maps. Detailed information can be found at Create a Custom Map URL

Challenge
Nikos asked for challenges. Here is one.
WinMerge has an option to “Ignore carriage return differences (Unix/Mac/Windows)”.
I’d like the Synch Wizard in xplorer² to have such an option.
We all have dreams!

Re: Possible bug? Pin to Taskbar nonexistent WinX 18323
“Pin to Taskbar” is missing from the right-click context menu in xplorer², but you can drag & drop the executable from xplorer² to Taskbar.

I found the solution at Why do .EML files modified date change on mouseover?? There is plenty of silly talk in that thread from ignorami masquerading as MS MVPs and the like, but a poster gave an explanation and a solution. It can be found at eml files have wrong last modification date time . The fo...

Re: Windows 10 April Update and date/time stamp of eml files
The date stamp is not changed by Thunderbird. It is changed by Windows when it creates a popup with the file date/time stamp. It should display the original date stamp. Instead of that, it displays the current date/time and automatically updates the actual Create date/time associated with the files ...

Re: Windows 10 April Update and date/time stamp of eml files
These eml files are saved by drag & drop from Thunderbird as a way to create instant manual backups. These date changes never happened before the April Update. The problem is not the infotip. The problem is that the file date/time stamp is altered. It is visible in xplorer² if you have these eml...

Re: Ejecting a USB key after Windows 10 1803 April Update
Ejecting a USB key or an external drive is now working flawlessly from the right-click menu in xplorer² Drive Bar. This is the result of installing the latest KB (May 8, 2018—KB4103721 (OS Build 17134.48)). Problem solved!
