Re: Windows 11 and Multimonitor Issue

Close out of Xplorer² completely. Go to the installation location, which should be C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2_ult then right click on xplorer2_64.exe and select properties. From there, go to the Compatibility tab, click the button Change settings for all users in the new dialog box click the b...

Ahhh. Then his analysis may be more on point!

Did they ever change their minds, especially when 'discovering' the variances?

Re: blog: 90 sunsets

Hi Nikos, This is due to what is called the Equation of Time. Here is from Sunrise and Sunset Times Lag Behind Sunrise and Sunset Times Lag Behind The shortest day of the year is commonly associated with the latest sunrise and earliest sunset of the year. However, in most locations, the earliest su...

Re: blog: 90 sunsets

so now I must do the equivalent sunrise experiment to be certain :) Naturally. And I hope that you've instilled enough curiosity and creativity in your kids that they, too, are eager to run another set of experiments and find out the real values. How cool or uncool are temperatures before sunrise i...

I also find it interesting that the first method worsens on 64 bit architecture while the second method improves.

Re: xplorer2 5.208 BETA

I don't use replace Windows Explorer either. But the path given for the start menu entries (not the program path on disk, but the shortcut paths that get used by the Windows Start Menu) between both Xplorer² and Xplorer² Beta is the same, so the icons in the start menu get removed when uninstalling ...

Re: xplorer2 5.208 BETA

One thing - I noticed that when I installed the Beta, it did pick a separate folder - but used the same Start Menu location as my regular Xplorer² install (which I missed when installing), so when I uninstalled it Windows had no recollection of an existing Xplorer² (non-beta) install. Luckily, the s...

Re: Feature = button option to clear filter box

feedback of this sort is best during beta testing or early after a release. This feature and keyboard associations are well, what 10 years old? Well-established to risk annoying existing users So make it an option - allow the user to pick whether they want to keep F2 or use ESC to clear the search ...

I have to agree, ESC to clear search contents is more intuitive.

Re: i-DeClone v1.270 beta

OMG! If this works as it seems that you want it to, I will be happy I bought it - my Mom makes these exact types of duplicates that are sometimes impossible to track down, as she is elderly but still insists on dragging and dropping entire folders to 'copy them'. I will test over the upcoming holiday.

Re: Paste Special - Structures Scrap Clips - Zipped files

Just as an aside - I think that might be a new record for post zombification. And this is not an insult, but rather giving credit where credit it due. You searched for an answer for what you're trying to do, bravo!

Bonus: Thanks for batch to run the robocopy, too!
