That is NOT a good way to allow a user to download. There should be a "download" button.

In addition, there should be a "Download all" button, so that the user does not waste downloading the videos one by one.

The period of the swing would change based on the effective length of the pendulum. So if the swing's CG goes up, then it goes faster. For example, if a buxom lady is on the swing, the swing would go faster. (I think I have given Nikos something to engage his mind. The next version of x2 just went f...

I strongly deny the x2 manual being the cause of any national blackouts or loss of rainforests, or for ozone hole, or for global warming! :D

Yes, I have been using it for years. Also see a beautiful site: http://alternativeto.net/ Here you see all alternatives for any program you know. Anyone can add a program, which has to be validated by other users. The site also ranks them by "likes" given by viewers. Filtering is very user...

Steve, Our problem is reverse now: To avoid any crashes, I have already stripped all character attributes and now I am going to rely on styles alone. (LO literature insists on that approach, but I had the old MSO habit of highlighting any text and hitting a shortcut like CTRL+U/I/B.) So now the docu...

That's good, because Steve (Kunkel) originally volunteered but is going to be unavailable for some months for personal reasons... I contacted Tom, the Czech author of AltSearch, about our needs. He has modified AltSearch to extract bookmark links from a document. (AFAIK, he has not implement...

Thanks! I need these RegEx patterns to use with AltSearch , a macro addon for LibreOffice (the successor for OpenOffice, in case you haven't heard of it). This macro can do some pretty neat tricks with find-and-replace operations. It uses some extended notations too. I will be using it to find the m...

Need RegEx help for making the latest version of User Manual

Hi all, I have finished writing the latest manual. Now I need to provide different character styles to the various types of text (e.g. user input, menu paths, keyboard shortcuts, etc.). For this, I am going to use LibreOffice with an Addon called AltSearch. This addon is capable of running find-and-...

ARGGHH the game is up! So do I use CTRL+F6 all the time. But then I don't use any filter at all. But for those who use the filter on-and-off, the checkbox would be vital. So I still think that the pull-down menu should be grayed out when the checkbox is unticked. In other words, the pull-down menu m...

But THAT is not apparent at all.

All the unintended things are much more likely to happen.
