Meanwhile I tested it with 1.7.2.19 and 1.7.2.20, and the problem still persists, so, at least, it's not a configuration failure. :)

I guess 1.8.0.0 will be the "final version" then.

Weird. I am logged in as administrator... :)
nikos wrote:do you see the audioshell columns in detailed view?
Obviously not, the "Album" column is empty  for FLAC files, so I presume it is the Windows' one.

Yep, I have. Disabling it doesn't make it work either.

Request: Remove the Control Panel from the tree

In fact, the Control Panel of recent Windows versions won't work correctly with xplorer² as most entries require to be opened in Windows Explorer. Thus, maybe it would be better to remove the Control Panel entry from the folder tree and put a shortcut to it into the Tools menu?

Just an idea...

1.7.2.6 [Unicode]: AudioShell does not work.

In current xplorer² release, the AudioShell extension does not work anymore.
Hovering a .mp3, .flac or similar file does - nothing. No tooltip appears. Tooltips for .jpg files still work fine, so it seems to be related to AudioShell.

In Windows Explorer everything is O.K. (Vista). Any ideas?

Phone confirmation? IIRC they didn't actually want me to enter my phone#. (Not sure though, I had a sleep after that...)

How long does it usually take to receive my license key?

I ordered x² a few hours ago via bank collection. How long does it (probably) take until they'll proceed? Any experiences with that?

[slightly OT] I would propose TinyPic.com. RS is not made for sharing pictures. To be more precise: It is actually unusable without a premium account. Even for legal contents. Sharing .zip files works better via eMule et al., you don't have "45 seconds waiting time" there ... [/slightly OT]

One minor problem with this registry "hack" is that Vista/7 have some folders that actually won't work outside the Windows Explorer. Example: Control Panel > Software - of course you /can/ open it with xplorer², but you'll get an empty window then. So for those you'll still need the Explor...
