Re: new version under way
I was thinking about this... I am thinking of putting it together with the dual-tree added in v5.2 is that how you consider using it? with or without the tree? Agreed with the rest - I don't bother with trees. It's why I have tabs in the first place, and favorites.....otherwise clicking through to ...

Re: new version under way
I already gave you my ideas before, but it seems Tuxman is just as hyped about some UI changes as I am lol.
Seriously, though ... nope, nothing new, really. It does what I want it to as I want it to.

Re: Opening a folder from Find list
It replaces File Explorer as the File handler with file manager duties in Windows - not the actual file explorer program itself.
You can always revert if you don't like using Xplorer² as your default handler at any time with no ill effects.

Re: Opening a folder from Find list
That begs a question - is there any way to make it default to opening in X² instead of Explorer?
If not, any thoughts on perhaps making this an option for future builds?

Re: Integration with Stream Deck?
Since you're on Ultimate, do you need access to Windows Explorer, otherwise Xplorer² has the ability to replace Windows Explorer as the default file manager, and you can also enable a setting to allow single use folders to open a new instance of Xplorer². Re: xplorer2 for windows 11 Build 25174
Lol. OK, then, I have 3 VMs, one corresponding to each build type - Dev, Beta and Release Preview (RP).
I'll install Xplorer² in the other 2 and see if there are issues. I'll report back and and make the relevant reports with the M$ Feedback app.

Re: xplorer2 for windows 11 Build 25174
New build released today - let me see if it actually got fixed (I have my doubts) and if not I'll try the new build. Edition Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview Version 22H2 Installed on 01-Sep-22 OS build 25193.1000 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.25193.1000.0 Uh, it's working in this...

Re: xplorer2 for windows 11 Build 25174
@Nikos - definitely does not run. There is a tone as if some sort of error message *should* be appearing but it never actually appears. Anything you want from the run attempt? Would there be any sort of log that might help, or have you ascertained that this is indeed only a Microsoft problem and not...

Re: xplorer2 for windows 11 Build 25174
25xxx builds are Windows Insider Dev builds. If you're on Beta channel, you *should* be on 22xxx builds, and same for Release Preview builds (sometimes Beta and RP align, as when a Beta build is released directly to RP without a version bump). I have all three types of Insiders builds in VMs, I've j...

Re: Autoresize name column is not working
@Nikos, reviving this topic because I just discovered something weird. When I open one of my profiles, it has a default column width. Naturally, a refresh (CTRL + R) resizes the Name column after opening on any given tab. However, if I happen to have selected a folder, it ignores long file names and...

Re: [Solved] v5.2 Robust delete dialog will not close automatically
It was happening without the box being ticked, I ran into the same thing but after a reboot it was fine also. I attributed it to my system being stupid and moved on- but I never, ever tick that box. Same way sometimes my profiles will start with the window font reset to 7 pt, when I specifically hav...

Ahhh, you're right, I was talking about the infobars under each pane, not the lowest statusbar.
My apologies. I should have seen the difference - can we chalk this up to my age?
