Click the item and you go, supposedly, to the full text. For x2, clicking the link in the bottom half brings you to the x2 homepage. I'm not seeing the three links you're talking about. Maybe Maxthon does RSS in a weird way. You'll see the page with the 3 links if you double click the heading in th...

Works fine with Maxthon. The "xplorer² news" heading has to be double clicked.
Only one slight glitch in the feed: the last 2 URL links are text-only (http://zabkat.com/x2lite.htm and http://zabkat.com/x2buy.htm).
It is a bit unfortunate for http://zabkat.com/x2buy.htm :(

ODT previews (2)
Would I still get these previews if OpenOffice was not installed on my system?

preview of ODT files
Greetings–
Just out of curiosity.
In xplorer² pro, the preview of ODT files shows the proprietary dialogs from OpenOffice.org Writer. Is this done automatically by sheer file association of Windows, or is there some special programmatic trick performed by xplorer² pro?

Re: Deleting deep folder trees
Greetings-- First you might want to read the MS KB article 326549 ("You Cannot View or Change the Read-Only or System Attribute of Folders"). Here are a few extracts: "Unlike the Read-only attribute for a file, the Read-only attribute for a folder is typically ignored by Windows, Wind...

Re: Folder groups
Greetings--
I don't have any desktop add-on of any kind. I hate that kind of thing.
I sent a screen capture to Nikos's address at @imperial.ac.uk but I am not sure this is still a valid address.

Re: target cannot handle... (4)
Here is an alternative method: 1. Plug in your USB drive. 2. Right-click an empty space on your Windows Desktop and create a shortcut to your USB drive. Name it anything you like ("USB Drive"?) 3. When you have a file selection to copy, make sure both xplorer² and the USB drive shortcut ic...

Re: target cannot handle... (2)
This is OK if you want to use the SendTo menu command. But I personally use something which I find just as practical. You only have to have the drivebar toolbar visible in xplorer². Let's suppose that you have plugged in your USB flash drive. Whenever you want to copy a file or a selection of files ...

Folder groups
Hi! I might have overlooked it but I could not find any answer to this in the current help. I have 2 questions (I am using version 1.6.0.1): First, is it possible to modify the folders already included in a given folder group? Or do I have to delete the folder group and recreate it anew? For example...

Re: Command-line arguments won't work (2)
Greetings-- As I understand things, Windows parses file paths so that strings included within 2 backslashes are considered as (sub)folder names. So if you use E:\Program Files\xplorer2\xplorer2_UC.exe , all the included strings are treated as subfolder names, which they are. Accordingly, the command...
