Removing Saved Visual Filters
At 30+ items, my Visual Filter list has gotten long and unwieldy; I'd like to wipe it and start over fresh. I assume the place to do this is the registry, specifically: HKCU\Software\ZabaraKatranemia Plc\xplorer2\History\Filters Is it safe to simply delete this Key? (x2 will rebuild it on next start...

Feature Suggestion: Direct Filters
In addition to the Direct Copy & Move commands, would it be possible to have a Direct Select Filter command? Just as Direct Copy (Ctrl+F5) copies a file directly, bypassing the Copy dialog, the Direct Select Filter would apply the extension of the currently selected file as a filter directly, by...

this is an example of a true keyboard junky :) Guilty as charged! :D OK, this is no big: I can just save a 'default' rule and use ALT+R, ENTER to edit it on-the-fly. Thanks. But I am curious (and please note, I ask for information only, this is neither a complaint nor a critique): Everything in x2 ...

Accessing Rule Defs via keyboard?
Is there a hotkey combo which will take me from the Find Files or folders dialog to the Rule definition dialog? Specifically, how do I access the Add New/Delete/Properties/Up/Down icons (to the right of Additional Rules ) via keyboard. Alt+R doesn't do it, and I can't seem to Tab into them. I've che...

I've had trouble with this, too... x2 seems to interpret even a 1 pixel shift as a drag, and reorders the toolbar. Is it possible to increase this drag 'window' ?, ie. one would have to move, say, 6-8 pixels before x2 regarded it as a shift+drag, anything under that would be seen as a shift+delete. ...

JRz , Followed the instructions in your last post carefully; when 'Save program state on exit' is off, I get the same behavior as you did. So we have established some consistency between our applications. With 'Save program state on exit' turned on, I get the following: Open x2. Both panes are in d...

I wonder if you can get it to go wrong again... JRz , Oh yes, this behavior is consistent. If I close x2 with any view other than my normal default view mode, then that other view mode will persist when I re-open x2. And, as you posted, if 'save program state on exit' is turned off, then settings a...

Thanks all for your replies! I get the same behavior whether 'save program state on exit' is on or off (normally I leave this setting always enabled). I think Nikos is right; it's just a weird behavior that happens when you close the program and one of the panes is not in your normal view mode. Easy...
