Re: Forum appearance

The parts I tinkered had nothing to do with the site logo, but somewhere in the phpBB theme files refresh process it got resized.
I might try to find and fix it next week.

I, too would much like to see such a naturally easy way to search selected subfolders.

Re: Forum appearance

I keep falling down the "View your posts" burrow ... That's another of the features I, too, do not care for with the new board 'style', but not sure your suggestion will be any better than just being different. It's something else I will look into; along with missing the "Next topic ...

Forum appearance

The default theme being used by the newly updated forum displays the users' profiles (avatars, etc.) on the right side of the forum.
Some folks have expressed a preference for the old arrangement with user profiles on the left. I can make the changes if there is a consensus.

Re: forum relocation

Re: forum changes - One step at a time. The main issue with the old forum was that the phpBB software version being used was many years out of date, which has now been addressed. Changing the host would not affect function, so we will stay where we are for a while to maintain access to tech assistan...

My comments are for case of not having 'hover selection' enabled.
In which case each m-click adds to the current selection.
(doesn't work for hover select unless you hold down the Ctrl key)
See section 4 in the UM under "Selecting and unselecting items manually"

@ why not? -
m-click in folder pane is already assigned to add the m-clicked item to the current selection (à la Ctrl+L-click).

a straightforward 2-step work-around is to first select the folder(s) you want to open in new tab(s) and then m-click on whitespace in the tab bar.

r-click on the toolbar you want to add it to and select "customize..." from the dropdown menu.
In the resulting dialogbox, you can find the "Trash" icon somewhere in the middle of the list of available toolbar icons.

confirmed...
[F6] move *should* use the same settings as [F5]
but throws the windows conflict notice :-(

Option settings are:
"Overwrite if newer, else skip"
underneath
"Silent operation; no confirmations or error reports"

be careful about where your "focus" is.
It's often not the same as the location of the mouse pointer.

There is no separate evaluation version from the full version.  It is nikos' peculiar logic to confusingly have x2 always declare that it is an evaluation  product upon installation.
see, for example, this thread.
