I wasn't fully updated (I had 1.8.0.7), but also on 1.8.0.9 the same thing happens. These are the columns: almost all [x] columns, except, oddly, the 'open status'. My guess is that they are pdf-related (not sure). http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/381/xcolumns.jpg Not always will X2 crash, it depe...

Crash when selecting a [x] column
Don't know if this has already been dealt with (quite some crash reports, lately, but I never suffered from it until now). I'm on Vista Professional X64, X2 is not in any way the default replacement for WE. I was playing with the columns in details view, and noticed that turning on one of the column...

Does your tree pane keep focus after selecting the folder? It should, otherwise pressing the delete button won't apply to the folder you'd want to delete. To maintain focus on the selected folder, Tools - Options... - Window - 'Automatically shift focus to view after activation' should be unchecked....

Just put quotation marks around the paths, like this:I think that should work.
Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2\xplorer2_UC.exe" /M /F:0 "E:\My documents"

If you use Autoit, you might use this little script to insert the length of the filename into the comments column (I changed a script I use, to accomodate this): Dim $file, $filetoken, $filestream, $filetime $file = $CmdLine[1] $filenamelength = StringLen($CmdLine[2]) $filetime = FileGetTime($file, ...

A $-token is not necessary, if you only want your application to start without further ado, but you should give a clue if where your command is directed to. You can use '$' to indicate that it is a dos command, or '>' if it is a run command. I would recommend to try to define the command as: > "...

For me that would be the possibility to use filter settings, or the thing that you can get a log of (non-) deleted files. To me, the advantage is not so big, as I use the recycler more often.FrizzleFry wrote:What is the advantage of x2's robust deletion as compared to just regular Windows deletion?

 Alright, I'm ignorant (let me say it before anyone else does it). The non-confirmation mode of the recycler works for deletion as well. Sigh, there goes my argument. Well, I still like the idea of Robust Recycling (I just can't be bothered about the non-confirmation part, to be honest  ).

Sorry for not getting the point here. As far as I know, there never was a way to delete files (note: I write 'delete', not 'recycle') without some extra dialog for confirmation. (Please reveal my ignorance if I'm wrong here.) It's just that now deletion has been extended with some extra fun stuf in ...

Do I sense a potential nightmare of compatibility with 3rd party PDF readers coming on? I don't see that happen soon. PDF comes in different versions, and is an open standard. Each version is described thoroughly in accessible documentation. Some of the older versions have become ISO standards for ...
