The new look is OK for me, but I'm not sure if I like the screenshot to pop up without clicking - way too intrusive.

I would recommend to read the PDF manual - sometimes you may find there a feature you wouldn't even think of otherwise, which suddenly solves a problem of yours. Feels like epiphany.

If the version installed breaks the expected user experience, this does invalidate the claim on the site.

Shell extensions are part of user experience, which breaks down if you're using 32-bit x2 on 64-bit Windows. Do I really need to explain obvious things?

Perfect integration with Windows shell is what makes X2 X2. Who needs another stupid Total Commander clone?

Nikos, the copy on download page is misleading: "All 32/64 bit (95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP/2003/Vista/W7)", but down below you have a separate link to 64-bit version download. Nothing wrong with that. 32 bit x² works fine on 64 bit systems. Really? When did you check your shell extensions last ...

Tip: use TortoiseDiff user command to compare files

If you happen to use TortoiseSVN, here's a nice command line to use as a user command in x2: >"C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin\TortoiseMerge.exe" /base:"$F" /mine:"$G" This will use file on an active pane as a base and will compare it against changes made in the select...

Queue button

Nikos,

Why would you change the one-click button "Queue" in copy/move dialog to a two-click operation - select Use Queue, click Copy/Move? Could you return the original design back please?

Thanks.

Re: 1.8.0.7 [Unicode] cannot move filesfrom x2 to outside

I find that I cannot move (drag, drop) any file from a folder in X2 to say, my documents (or any folder), unless it is done within X2. That includes drag and drop files on program icons outside X2 and programs that are open and running. Just a black strike thru circle. Help? Windows 7/Vista and x2 ...

Nikos, I kind of understand your logic, but somehow this works in Explorer w/o any problems...

What's interesting is that I'm using x2 and older version of TSVN at work with XP - no problems with Delete whatsoever.
