Other xplorer2 windows are never a problem when switching from two monitors to one monitor. Those windows can be reached by Alt_tab or using the task bar (windows 7). The problem with the floating panes, is that they are not registered in windows as a separate windows. So there is no way to reach th...

Every time I closes down Kenny, I get the "Assertions failed" message. This was normal in the previous alpha versions. Is this still the case? Or do you want a copy of the log file?

Problem with floating windows and dual screens. When I dragged the "How do I?" to my other screen, leave xplore2r, removed my extra monitor and started xplorer2, it was not possible for me to go to the floating window, that was somewhere off screen. So probably extra code is needed somewhe...

Do I miss something, but is minimizing xplorer2 not the easiest solution to stop it redrawing?

No comment.... But thanks for the tips and the references.  :ok: And now I see the connection. Sometimes the obvious should be pointed out. And the mouse following buttons? Tried that, hate it. Not mine preference. Hardness of materials Copper: 2.5 - 3 Silver: 2.5 - 4 Gold: 2.5 - 3 Platinum:...

Killmate, killmate. You made me post, while it is questionable if this is meaningful...... :? With "formatting" I indeed mean Colour Coding. And the AHK is indeed a good idea. Why the mouse restore is needed while it only uses keystrokes is  a riddle to me :?: Fred, you are too late (I hop...

Just came to my mind. We have Ctrl-Alt-R to disable the automatic updates which is very handy with large directories on the network. Could we also have a shortcut key to easily disable and enable formatting? And please don't say that it already exists (if so please do). Every time I asked something ...

this Qdir is also in the top-15 list. When you say it was faster, could it be that you made xplorer2 life harder by calculating sort modes, color codings and slow columns so the comparison is not fair? Ah? I missed that it was in the list also. I've used Qdir only recently. The fact that xplorer2 i...

I downloaded sometime ago a thing called Q-Dir. It has the possibility to show 4 panes with each multiple tabs. I was compelled to use that one, but I did not like some quirks. But I must admit it was very fast (faster then xplorer2) on reading folders. But in the end I decided not to use it anymore...

About 2. If you take a look at page 325 in the manual you see many options how to open xplorer2 with the same doors open. Take a look at the several switches to enhance your experience. To create a link with the following syntax for opening your C: and D: disk is as easy as typing this: xplorer2 C:\...

Does remind me of one thing I do with xplorer2 which is difficult in another way. I have a directory structure (based on date) with invoices in it. How do I check if there are no missing invoice numbers? Simple. Select the top most directory, hit Shift Enter, Select all, use Ctrl-P and copy the data...

I don't know who is stupid. If someone is using a term, I don't say every time that he uses a word that is possibly out of context, that this person doesn't know what he is talking about. Piracy, theft, not paying. What does it matter. I'm not a law person! I take a look at the context (and not a le...

What it is called is not really important. And referring to a lexicon is a little stupid to me because there are lots of terms used on the internet with a specific meaning that are not part of a lexicon. I did just take a look at the lexicon I use for English and it is from 1975. Go figure with inte...
