AWXRENAME hasn't been updated for years but still works for me. A simple rt-click interface with options for LC, UC, Mixed (Title) and custom and PERL script selections, will operate on all selected files in the open folder.

Re: Filename is too long
That explains it.
I'm displaying folders with X2 ver 4.3.0.2 ult x64, but WORD can't open.
Works when I map a network location to a near parent location to reduce the apparent depth of the target folder.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Filename is too long
Got this error trying to open a .doc in a deep folder.
I thought x2 was handling long filenames now? Total UNC file name with path is only 265 characters.

The entire website moved to a different host a short time back and most images were lost.
This meant we lost many pictures of our dear departed Kilmatead's estate and other fanciful items.

Mostly water vapor from the 100,000 gallons per second pumped into the chamber to cool the walls of the test stand from the heat of the exhaust.

Multi-monitor manifest: x2 v. 4.2.0.0. on Win 7 HP, 64 bit. So I had an issue with the positions of dialog boxes, like the User Commands ORGANIZE dialog. Using the menus Customize/User Commands/Organize, the User Commands ORGANIZE dialog box pops up at 883,242, roughly the middle of the location of ...

Re: multiple monitor support and v4.3
I'm using an HP monitor attached to a laptop, with different resolutions: HP - 1920x1080 Laptop - 1366x768 I don't know if this is what you mean. I recall a few years back you and K having a very long technical discussion on DPI but I didn't fully understand the implications and haven't had a reason...

Re: Any news from Kilmatead?
What hurts me the most is when Nikos converted the forum over, all the PMs were lost. I was holding onto and occasionally rereading my exchanges with Kilmatead. With them lost, and nothing from Kilmatead for 18 months, I'm sure I'll never make that pub date I promised him whenever I finally made it ...

Re: You should add a link to your website to your Youtube videos
p, Don't waste your time. Try to find a link from the forum to ZABKAT Home . I've tried to point out to Nikos that impulsive people (the majority of humankind) need quick links. They aren't going to see a video or happen on a user forum through GOOGLE search and then say, "Gee, that sounds inte...

Re: forum relocation
Speaking if kilmatead, as you were. Isn't there some way to find out what happened to him? Is he even still alive? There must be forum members that can find some info if someone has his real name. I would not want him to fade away without some acknowledgement of him and his contributions here and o...
