Re: Surface Pro 3 touchpad/touchscreen won't scroll
FYI, the fix for this is on SB_THUMBPOSITION and SB_THUMBTRACK, simply use the nTrackPos position to update your scroll offset. If you perform a check against nPos to test for a change the scroll will fail, since touch screens set nTrackPos and nPos to the same value for those scroll codes.

Isn't one of the key functions of a file manager being able to search for files?

Re: losing a customer?
Sounds like you've been hanging out on conspiracy theory websites a bit too much, Kilmatead :) I have seen on the Opus forum these claims come up from time to time and they have always been denied. They have a faq addressing the matter which seems quite clear to me. And why does this thread keep goi...

Re: losing a customer?
It's pricey and the way they track if you actually own a license is so... virus like. It's scary even if you're a legitimate user. Paranoid much? :) No idea what you are talking about there. There's no "tracking" or viruses, this is just gobbledegook I'm sorry. Although... you do have to ...

Re: losing a customer?
And you misinterpreted the farmer reference - I do not consider a lifetime license as "apples forever" as an apple is a disposable thing (as are the farmers), but I do consider single-version licenses to be little more than recipes without ingredients. Monster children born of disappointe...

Re: losing a customer?
That Dopus thing has a few settings which will literally make the fucused items glow and subtly emphasis their actual text-size within the listview itself as you mouse-over/select them I actually don't mind a bit of bling in a UI although I know some people find it distracting, or are just patholog...

Re: losing a customer?
I find your desire for a "lifetime licence" of the software you use kind of curious. Doesn't that just lock you in to the one product indefinitely? If an update comes out that you really don't like (because, say, it adds a ribbon  ), if you've already invested in a lifetime licence y...

Re: losing a customer?
It sounds like you and Nikos have an interesting relationship :) And no matter what you say, its upgrade schedule is way out of whack with perceived-reality According to it's wikipedia page: Opus 6: 2001-06-18 Opus 8: 2004-10-04 Opus 9: 2007-04-27 Opus 10: 2011-04-30 Opus 11: 2014-03-03 I make that ...

Re: losing a customer?
Yes XY's big failing that it will never be able to surmount is that it's written in VB6. Luckily for Don most of his users seem unaware of this, or at least unaware of the implications of software being written in an unsupported, outdated language that despite many pleas and petitions from its loyal...

Re: losing a customer?
Given that XY lost me as a customer and German translator (I was suddenly banned and completely removed from their forums for disagreeing with the developer's political opinion; if I was still younger, I'd add "lulz" here), this makes it a +/- zero, right? Yeah I've been banned from the X...
