Sure. I noticed it when I downloaded some zips with subtitles and compared them to old ones. But try this to reproduce: Create a newfile in left pane with f7. Write content asdf with editor2 in it. Create another newfile in right pane with f7. Write content asdfe with editor2 in it. Left one of cour...

Small Bug in Compare Feature
I'm using very often the compare feature with Ctrl-F9 and the options identical / "comparison based on size". I noticed it is showing small files as identical if there's only a difference of a few bytes. Can easily be recreated by creating two identical named textfiles with a few character...

it isn't really escapable since it uses the background thread. A lot of work would be required to change this behaviour. I recommend using folder statistics instead <alt+D> which is escapable Well, that's what I feared. I know alt+D of course, after all it's been there before Ctrl-D already in 2x. ...

I wanted to ask for some time now: Is the folder calculation escapable or can be made so? Often I only need the size of one or a few folders, but if started in a big root it always completes the root (same for big folders of course), even if I change folders. And it isn't possible to start another f...

Re: I'm just trying to save a step
If I Select All and then flatten, it does not include the documents in the folder I'm currently viewing, it only flattens the folders selected. You can send the remaining (selected) files to the flattened (scrap)pane with Ctrl-S by the way, just so you know. But it's still a crutch and IMHO easier ...

In the search results window I have two panes, the one on the left has all the info about the files found and the one on the right is totally blank. What is the window on the right for? Can I eliminate it? I cannot find anything in the user manual that explains the results window. Maybe you don't w...

Actually there are so many freeware renamers that are at least as good as commercial versions that I'm wondering how commercial renamers make a profit. :-) I'm usually using a combo of renamers consisting of x2 mass rename, awx rename shell utility and Flexible Renamer. The last one is my personal c...
