not seeing copy confirmation dialog in beta

Post by gkarasik »

Hi,

When trying to copy a file to a subdirectory where a file of the same name already exists, I am not getting a confirmation dialog, and I want one. I probably turned this off somewhere, but I can't find how to turn it back on. Where is this setting?

in the dialog that shows when you copy (F5) there is an options button near the bottom where you can change several settings including the confirmations.

Thanks for that. I'm using the beta. The options that show when I click F5 are already set for confirmation, but there when copying that confirmation dialog never shows. Might be a bug in the beta.

these options should show an overwrite confirmation. It works for me... (here we go again!)

do you never see an overwrite confirmation like this?

ps do you have the manifest file in the installation folder? browse the xplorer2 folder and look for a file ending in .manifest
