Strange File Selection Behaviour

Post by Mini »

I am using version 1.8.1.4 and recently it has developed a file selection problem. I have downloaded the latest version to compare and it also has the same issue. The computer is WIN10 on a desktop using a corded Logitech mouse.

When I select a file inside a folder that file is highlighted in blue as it should be. If I then select another file in the same folder or any number of files they all show blue as being selected. To remove the selection I then have to go back to each file and click on each one to remove the selection. This also will not allow me to double click and rename files which is fairly annoying as well.

I have tried another mouse, the result was the same, I downloaded the latest version of xplorer to no avail and now I have run out of ideas. If I use file explorer from windows it behaves normally on the same files which puzzles me. Any ideas would be appreciated.

probably you turned sticky selection mode on. Press ALT+S to turn it off (see MARK menu)
