Hi Nikos

What have you named the new friendly file date as in the set column repository ?.

Thanks.

there's no special name, you just use the stock date columns, and tick "friendly dates" both in regular settings (TOOLS > OPTIONS menu, Advanced page), and the new friendly dates box in the external advanced settings editor

Nikos.
would it be possible to make the new date function independent of regional settings ?.
I noticed that if the systems short date format is set to mm/dd then X2's date system emulates that, what I'm thinking of is keeping my OS system date format as mm/dd, and in X2 display it as mm/dd/yy.

Or am I missing something obvious ?, its been known to happen before :-)

you cannot control the format of the new friendly date, but if you want to change the format of regular dates, see the advanced settings editor (search for date) and you can insert a format
