2 things

Post by dimitris » 2003 Oct 30, 09:22

i like 2xexplorer a lot

2 things i dont like and was curious if i could change them somehow

1) when I choose the order of files to be alphabetical , then files and folders are mixed, all in alphabetical order, what I would like is files all together in alphabetical order and folders all together in alphabetical order

2) when i press alt-f1 or alt-f2 the names of the drives dont fit in the window and cover each other, no matter what view i use, can this be changed ?

1. This isn't the case, unless you are talking about zipfolders getting mixed with normal folders

2. ... no solution

unfortunately development on 2x has ended for good, perhaps you should give the new xplorer2 a try

hmm actually its doing it on zipfolders only... y is that ? because it treats them like folders ? is there an option to change it ? and show compressed files along with other files ?

really no solution to the other thingy ? :(

as far as x2 , well i am using it but i dont line a few things yet, like,

no external editor
dont like the options style, would like them grouped
no alt-f2 & alt-f1, only alt-f1
would like some more button , and copy paste button in more vidible position

:)

x2 is heavily customizable through registry options
this includes a path for external editor; see alpha.txt for more info
there's also an option that controls how zipfolders are sorted too!
