HOUR incompatibility daylight saving time ?

I regularly "sync" some folders to a (Novell) server disk. Well, i tend to have the "originals" on a laptop folder, and sync them to the server space quite regularly.
But now going through some sub-folders who should not have been changed, i see that the "hour of last modification" has "become" different ... the dates and minutes match, but the "hours" are 1 hour off ... after the "summer time" switched back to "winter" mode.
What this means is: on the Novell disk, dates/times were left AS-IS, on the (Win2K Pro) laptop the modification dates seem to have changed, but it's NOT a real "file has changed" sign, only "we changed a clock somewhere and Windows tries to indicate the original time in today's timescale".
Is there a workaround to that, because when going through folders where "SOME" files have changed, 2xEplorer will suggest to re-sync EVERYTHING.
Maybe i'll have to dig into Windows settings for it ("don't change file times on already-saved files" won't work, as Windows is merely interpreting the same timestamps with a different mask ... previous-hour-mask+/- 1 )
Someone any idea, or can 2xExplorer compare the actual "timestamp numbers" instead of th "dates shown by windows and Novell resp" ?
I think the same thing would apply if i were syncing to a machine in a country where daylight-savings-time is toggled on a different date?
