Hello all
Can anyone tell me why I cannot see my "Mobile Device" in 2xexplorer?
I get this message: some items in the folder were not accessible.
Mobile Device is a Pocket PC in its cradle connected through ActiveSync.

sorry, i don't know (perhaps another palm user out there?)

you could try the new alpha version of xplorer2 to see if it is any better. Even if this fails in a similar fashion it would give me much more information (hopefully) on the reasons behind the failure. See the website for details

Unfortunately, it does not work either :(
In Windows Explorer, it allows to explore a Mobile Device connected just as if it was a Drive: perfect to copy files.
I suppose 2x Explorer would need to communicate with some ActiveSync feature...

sometimes these external devices don't go through the normal channels but "hook" themselves into the explorer's process (& tree) or use other undocumented procedures to link up.

Although they seem "natural" within explorer, other external programs like 2x cannot integrate with them. I could not be 100% sure -- lacking a test bed to test these -- but I have to point the finger to the particular device you're using (unless you find another explorer replacement that does a better job  :) )
