directories - deleting and renaming directories

ug,
i feel moronic.

how do i rename a directory?

i can delete a directory by using the context menu.
is there another way to delete a directory?

Brendan,

i guess you are trying to do things using the tree on the left?

you can't rename directories (folders) directly from the tree, but as you've discovered you can delete using the context menu. You can also delete using [Del] key, which is much faster, or clicking on the X-shaped toolbar button

renaming is easy in any of the regular panes, just click once on a name and an edit box will appear in place. When it is stubborn, just hit [F2] and the renaming will begin
