hey, Nikos!
i think i have something for your "ToDo" list:
would it be possible to have an option which would allow for automatic removal of "readonly" attribute off of files copied from CDs? that would be pretty useful, i think...
regards.
another option to introduce?

it's the good-old address bar to the rescue.
just press [shift-tab] and type the command:
and presto, all your files will be un-readonlied.
You only have to type it once, then it will be available from the command history menu [Ctrl+F10]
while you are at it, try typing help attrib in a command box to see more options for this command (e.g. it can go down subfolders and change attributes in there too)
super-sweet!
just press [shift-tab] and type the command:
Code: Select all

y'know, i'm a lazy bastard... so if something can be done automatically, i'm very happy! but i've taken notice of your advice and will try to put it to some use. we'll see how it works!
